In the first phase of the scheme in order to make an application you have to name specific Ukrainians that are known to you. In anticipation of the next phase of the scheme our friends and colleagues at RESET Communities and Refugees are now starting to take registration details to make matches between Ukrainians looking to resettle in the UK and potential sponsors. They are the principle Home Office partners for the resettlement of refugees through sponsorship in the UK and will be the primary matching agency.

We are not currently involved in any aspect of the initial matching process though as the scheme rolls out it is likely that voluntary sector like us might become involved in local rematching, post the initial six months. You can find the full list of approved matching agencies here.
